Farm Credit Loan Closer Promoted to Loan Officer in Ripley

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV) recently announced that previous Loan Closer, Jessica Buckbee, has taken on the role of Loan Officer in the Ripley, West Virginia branch.

Buckbee joined the Association in 2019, having previously spent nearly 20 combined years in the banking industry. She moved through the ranks in several different roles at United Bank, and then served as Branch Banker and Team Leader at BB&T prior to her role at Farm Credit.

She will be focusing primarily on home loans including purchases, refinances and construction and will also take a small percentage of ag loans.

In regards to her new role, she says, “I have worked in several different areas of finance during my career but what I enjoy most is lending.  I look forward to working with the customers on their new home purchase, construction or saving them money on their existing home loan!”

F.J. Grady, Regional Sales and Lending Manager, says, “Jessica has been a natural fit for the Ripley team since she started in 2019, and we are so excited to see what she accomplishes in this new role.”
